It was very nice. Beautiful swim, bike and run. The crew was top notch and very well organized. Thanks for putting this on. This will be one of my must do races going forward. Great race, a bit of a trek from the Ogden area, but well worth it. It was very well organized and you have great volunteers. The scenery was good, spectator location was great. All around good race and accommodations. The race itself was great, but all the extras you throw in are a big bonus (band, breakfast, lunch, etc). Great scenery and a perfect set up for a triathlon! This year was great, you had tons of volunteers and it has to be one of the best organized races I have ever attended. That can’t be easy, so kudos’ My wife was a spectator and she said this was the best venue to watch the race she has experienced. The Scofield Tri was great, the meal was excellent, the communication prior to the event, during and after was great. My son did the kids splash, peddle, dash and really had fun. Thanks for putting on a great event!!! We look forward to next year! It is a really great place to have a race. The low amount of traffic and the beautiful clean air are very enjoyable. Great race! This was my second year and it has become my favorite race. The band was great. The race was great. The food was great. The staff did a really nice job. Thanks for putting on a great race. Thanks for a good time. It was my first triathlon. The course was beautiful and I think the race is awesome. The aid stations were great, even though I have not figured out how to drink on the run. The music and dinner after were great too. You guys are doing great. I was excited to do it this year and can't wait until next year. I really liked having the kid's race and it is one aspect that will likely bring me back next year. It was a great day and I had a good time as well as my kids! Loved the area and the course. Coming from the Midwest, it was nice to race without cornfields and pig farms. The venue was great. The best feature had to be the showers. Many thanks to the bike support crew for their assistance with my flat at mile 21! Thanks to the volunteers and race staff. This race was better run than many of the high profile races I've done in the past. Last year I did Scofield as my very first triathlon, I feel that I couldn't have picked a better race. I'm hoping to be able to do this race every year. This year my wife also participated in the race, and my son did the kids, we all had great experiences. The race is in a great location, with little traffic, and great scenery. It also works great for us because we live in Price so we don't have to travel very far on race day. As far as the favorite part of the race I would have to say the whole thing is great. We love the pig, even though we didn't get any this year.(We were a little slow getting in line because of our sons race). Oh well I'm sure we'll have another chance next year. I think the sprint course is perfect, easy enough for begginers like me, but challenging enough for everyone else. Next year I am looking forward to the longer course race, I think that will be very challenging, I'm already preparing my training schedule prepare for it. I just want to say thanks to all the volunteers and sponsers for making the race possible. Also thanks to the directors for making Scofield the greatest race I've competed in for two years in a row now.
~Thanks, Chad Hurst
I enjoyed the race tremendously. The race itself was well organized and fun, and I appreciate the large transition area so there was less crowding and division among the race racks.Â

This venue rated very high in my book, but I don't have much to compare it to. It was run very smoothly and well. I didn't have any problems. Your team was very supportive both before, during, and after the race. Like I said I had a very good first triathlon experience and as is so often the case, now I'm hooked. good job guys. you officially made me a triathlete! ~Thanks, Angela Hill
Great event guys, much bigger than I thought this year...Richard would be proud.... ~Ty Glines
Thanks so much for putting this event on. I was encouraged, challenged and sufficiently impressed. I hope to do it again next year! Love the claim to faim as the highest altitude Tri in the USA! ~Michael Oneil
The race venue is a 10. No other race has the spectacular views that Scofield can offer, and the claim to fame of the highest race in the nation. I may of gotten a better finishing time of I had not enjoyed the scenery as much. I found myself looking around and appreciating the colors, landscape, and picturesque mountains around me. I honestly wish I had more expertise when it comes to organizing an event like this. I found nothing wrong with the way the event was set up, run and carried out. The transit station was organized and wide enough for all participants to get in and out. The spectator area was big and well placed for all to see. I think with the way the marina is already layed out the organizers did a great job using it to their benefit. It must be difficult to plan such an event..kudos to those who did so. It is nice to show up, do the event, eat some pig, drink some beer, and have a great time and not worry about how it was behind the scenes. ~Thank you, Jennifer McDonald
Hey Justin, i just wanted to thank you all for a great event put on this year at Scofield. It was put together very well!!! i heard from all parties, especially those that were there to support participants on how great the accomidations were for them. grass areas for people to sit and watch the swim, and to have shade while those participating were out on the course. i was so happy to hear this from my family, just to know that they had a great time in the outdoors as they were watching me. Scofield is always a beatiful place to visit with all of the scenes. Great job! ~Cody Haycock
Excellent venue. We love the small/intimate feeling of the event and the vibe is awesome. Everyone is so friendly and happy. Kids event was greatly improved--the course was much easier for route finding. Love the shirts and bags!! Keep it small if you can. ~Kiera Slawson
